announce new items available, any cool concert we hear about, anything else
worth mentioning. I will keep you up to date on anything remotely
ass-kicking here

NEW!!! stolen
sharpie revolution! version 2.0 fresh from the press... good ol'
shipwrekk (alex from brainscan zine and microcosm publishing) re-released
her popular DIY guide about zines!. i consider this a must have for
all zinesters, distros, and readers of zines alike! Alex
Wrekk compiled a 128 page DIY guide that teaches how to make zines,
understand zine culture, and make your own zine related crafts. The stuff
you know, stuff you don't know, stuff you didn't know you knew. Just about
everything with a focus on zines. Tips and tricks for photocopying, doing
creative layouts, mail art, zine ettiquette, how to deal with distros,
making paper, starting/working a distro, how to put out a record, how to
make your own envelopes and stationary, binding ideas, advertising ideas,
cures for writers block and tons more.

The CIA Makes Science Fiction Unexciting #2
explains the history of
US chemical biological testing and development, how the HIV virus cannot
scientifically be related to AIDS, CIA and military documents requesting
the creation of a virus with the clinical description of AIDS, and how
AIDS death statistics have been inflated for the last 20 years when the
supposed miracle cure; drugs kill the patients even faster than
AIDS.

Since august 16th
apparently, We have been making unannounced updates all the time.
we've added some shirts, some zines, some of everything. we have
stopped ordering zines from retailers, and are now only taking submissions
from authors. Hopefully we will have all sorts of new original
buttons soon, but its still a maybe. Be sure to check out the

it was a collaboration of bpdistro and other area anarcho-punks to create
a local forum for communication. We also hope to bring more books to
you fine people, so if there is anyone with a book they'd like to sell

summer, Fresh from the gracious rubble of knuckledhead distro. Big
thanks to chris for running a great distro for so long.... sadly you will
be missed.
Also, That asshole (with respect) joe went and published his own zine behind
our back. And, that is also available... check it
out, its really good. Image coming soon.
-Summer Expansion
Greetings, welcome to the summer expansion. You have
probably noticed a lack of updates recently... that is because we here at
bp distro have been working on this new expansion.. you will find new
music, a ton of new zines, some new buttons, microcosm patches, many new,
original shirts, the street team deal, and much
more assorted products... we have also been working on some site
touch-up's.. just little things you may or may not notice to make it
easier to discover the wonders of black panther distribution and
publishing. Please if your new here, post something on our forum,
treat it as a guestbook and contribute your opinions and feelings.. or
just say hi. We have also been working on some original zines to
be published sometime in the near future so keep your eyes out for
that. Another thing we have added is a more in-depth look at our
zine publishing program. Lastly you will find a very comprehensive link
archive, in which we categorize and present links to: other distros, zine
sites, recommended music, labels doing the right thing, sites with good
political content.. and just plain funny things to look at.

Winona Police Brutality
At approximately
11:40 at night, may 11th,2003, this young man was riding his bike home. a police officer
attempted to stop him on his bike one block from home. when this kid didn't stop, the police forced him
off his bike. when other officers arrived they threw him on the ground and roughed him up. they arrested him and set his bail at 300 dollars.
they said they stopped him on his bike because he had no front and rear reflectors. he didn't find this out until he got to the police
station his official charges were obstruction the legal process with force and obstruction the legal process. on the police report there was no
identification of the officers. they were referred to as officer one, two, and three.
